Vouvray

Château Gaudrelle

Château Gaudrelle is located in the vineyard region of Vouvray (AOC since 1936). It covers 15 hectares of vineyards whose average vine age is about 40 years The vineyard is exclusively planted with Chenin blanc.

The fermentation is carried out for 65% in oak barrels (new & old), and takes between 4 and 16 weeks.

Assyrtiko

One of several indigenous Greek grapes capable
of producing high-quality wines with piquant acidity. Pithy, citrus, herb,
spice, and apricot flavors. Originally from Santorini, but increasingly
grown on other islands and the mainland.

Aligoté

aligoté Very much the second white grape of Burgundy in both stature and acreage, producing simpler, sharper, shorter-lived wine than chardonnay. It's at its best in the village of Bouzeron, and is the traditional wine for making Kir. Also grown widely in eastern Europe.
